Privacy Policy
This policy explains how ReviewSignal plans to handle data for businesses that connect authorized Google Business Profile locations.
Information we collect
ReviewSignal may collect account information such as name, business name, email address, phone number, company website, billing status, and support messages. If you connect Google, we may collect authorized Google account identifiers, Business Profile account and location identifiers, location names, review data, ratings, review timestamps, owner replies, and related synchronization metadata.
Google OAuth and Business Profile data
ReviewSignal only accesses Google Business Profile data after an authorized user grants permission. We use that access to monitor reviews, display review analytics, prepare response workflows, and publish approved replies when the customer requests that action. We do not sell Google user data.
How we use information
- To provide review monitoring, dashboards, alerts, and reporting.
- To send email or SMS notifications for review events.
- To maintain account security, prevent misuse, and troubleshoot issues.
- To process subscriptions and communicate about the service.
- To improve product reliability and customer support.
Tokens and security
OAuth refresh tokens and access credentials are intended to be stored encrypted and used only by backend services that need them to perform authorized review synchronization or reply actions. Access may be revoked by disconnecting Google or revoking ReviewSignal from your Google account permissions.
Vendors
ReviewSignal may use vendors such as hosting providers, database providers, payment processors, email providers, SMS providers, analytics tools, and support tools. These vendors process information only as needed to provide their services to ReviewSignal.
Data deletion
Customers may request deletion of account and connected review data by contacting hello@getreviewsignal.com. Some records may be retained when needed for billing, tax, security, legal, or abuse-prevention purposes.
